How to remove coffee stains?


– Using white absorbent cloth/paper towels, blot up from outer edge to center (never rub) Apply dry cleaning solvent (follow instructions/precautions) Apply clean warm water to stained area and blot up firmly until no further transfer of stain

If stain remains: Apply a solution of warm water and mild non-bleach liquid detergent (1 tsp. : 1 qt. water) OR clear mild dishwashing liquid without additives (hand-softners or scents) Let stand for 5 minutes

Apply solution of white vinegar (2 tbs. : 1 qt. water) and blot Apply solution of clear, white, nonsuds ammonia (2 tbs. : 1 qt. water) and blot

– *If stain remains: Apply a solution of warm water and mild non-bleach liquid detergent (1 tsp. : 1 qt. water) OR clear mild dishwashing liquid without additives (hand-softners or scents) Let stand for 5 minutes

– Blot up detergent and apply clear warm water Blot up water and again apply and blot until stain removed Absorb remaining moisture with layers of white paper towels weighted down overnight When completely dry, vacuum or brush pile to restore texture
